Quality Vs Quantity

The title may sound like an India Vs Pak cricket match to some but this is how it is. There have always been a debate on quality and quantity.

I met a girl a few days back and asked her about her views on this topic to which she said that she would anytime prefer quantity over quality. Generally college students do so. They want different set of clothes to wear for college everyday and repeating a dress is completely a big "no" for them. This doesn't mean that they do not buy branded stuff at all. They do but when asked to make a choice, they believe the more, the merrier.

At the same time there are people who are completely the opposite. They prefer quality and not quantity. According to them it's better to buy branded clothes, even if they are not too many, as they last for a long time and you can flaunt them without any hesitation, whenever you want. I personally think that it's neither the quantity nor the quality that matters. What matters is the attitude that you carry, when you wear a particular dress.

When it comes to me, even I get confused between quantity and quality. But I think this is something that depends on an individual, his personal preference or choice. If you are brand conscious, then get yourself whatever you desire then whether it is a single pair of these or a dozen of them. But just make sure that it doesn't make a hole in your pocket.

If you don't believe in buying branded stuff all the time then go ahead and bring home a whole new range of clothing whenever required.

The Tattoo Mania!

The tattoo fever is not yet over. People still want to get a tattoo as they feel it is stylish and would make them look hep. Which is till an extent true but how many people actually havhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gife the courage to bear the pain of getting a tattoo done? Or I should say how many people want to get a tattoo done in spite of knowing the fact that it is something which will stay for lifetime?

Well, I guess these days people are more style conscious. They do whatever they can, to keep up with the latest trend. So, if you really want to get a tattoo done and can bear the pain and don't have any problem to have it for a lifetime then what are you waiting for? Go and get it done.

A little piece of advise for people like me who want to get a tattoo done but can't get it because they are afraid of the pain, get a temporary tattoo done. If you really want to flaunt a tattoo on a function or a party, then there are a lot of artists who make temporary tattoos that stay only for a week or so and one doesn't have to bear any sort of pain.

At one of my family functions, I desperately wanted a tattoo on my back as i was wearing a sari with a halter blouse. That is when I got a temporary tattoo with some art work done on it. For boys I would advise not to go for these temporary ones as they can hardly flaunt it. But some of my friends did use these temporary ones when there was a fashion show held at our college.

So here's the trick. If you can't get it and yet want to flaunt it, then think smart and just carry it well. This really works!

Yahi Hai Right Choice Baby...

Going for a function? Confused with what to wear? Well, this is something which happens with a lot of people. they are not able to decide what to wear on which occasion and thus they end up looking stupid most of the times.

But here is a simple solution which would be easy for every individual to follow. For a party at college, girls should wear a sari or a one piece dress. Avoid wearing a suit as it would look too casual. For guys, a shirt paired up with a trouser would be the best of all and if you don't have a trouser then denims would also work. You also have one more option. To look different amongst all just wear a suit or a blazer over your shirt. But please don't wear your t-shirts with denims.

For a party at work, girls should either wear a sari or a one piece dress. Boys here should go for complete formals, that is, a three piece suit or a shirt and a trouser paired up with a tie.

For family functions such as weddings, girls should wear completely traditional/Indian, sari, suit or a lehenga. Avoid wearing any type of casual clothes. For guys, kurta-pyjama, dhoti-kurta, sherwani would be a complete different and traditional attire. If you want you can also wear a suit or just a shirt paired with trousers but avoid this as you can wear this in any of the other functions also. Remember some clothes are exclusive for marriage purpose only.

Well, all these above suggestions might help people with selecting the right clothes for the right occasion.

Create Your Own Trend!!

Yes, it's true..become your own stylist by following few tips. It's simple and practical! People often get conscious with their hair, clothes and accessories while keeping themselves updated with the latest trend. But while talking about trends the question that comes to their mind is how to create a trend of our own?

Just think "out of the box". It may not be necessary for a person to change his clothes, accessories and hair to look different. A change in either of them can make you look different.

Once i went to the market with my mother to buy a nail paint for myself. While checking out the different shades, I ended up buying a blue and a green nail paint. At night while having dinner my mother noticed my hands and the blue and green nail paint on them. She was surprised to see those colourful shades and asked me to remove it as she thought they looked really weird. I went to my room, stood in front of the mirror and saw my hands. Weird! Yes, they were but I still liked it and now i knew what I had to apply on my feet.

I flaunted my style the next day in the college which was actually liked by all. This is me and my very own style.
